Since its launch in 1990, BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) has become the World’s foremost environmental assessment method and rating system for Buildings.

BREEAM sets the standard for best practice in sustainable building design, construction and operation and has become one of the most comprehensive and widely recognised measures of a building’s environmental performance.

We have a very committed Environmental Assessment department at Synergy, and through our unique style of assessing, have successfully guided construction teams to final BREEAM certification on over sixty buildings.

All of our BREEAM Assessors have backgrounds based in the construction industry, and as such are well aware of the pressures facing today’s professional teams. We therefore take a very focussed approach to our assessment’s, working closely with members of both the design and construction teams, to ensure that the entire BREEAM process is closely managed from initial feasibility stages, through to post construction reviews.

As testimony to our dedicated approach, the buildings which won the BRE’s BREEAM Retail award in 2011, 2012 & 2013 were all assessed by Synergy.

Synergy also carried out the BREEAM assessment’s on the World’s first, ‘Outstanding’ rated Retail Buildings, and the first ‘Bespoke’ building certified under the 2011 New Construction criteria.

We carry BREEAM AP (Accredited Professional) status, and are licensed to carry out BREEAM Assessments in the following sectors:-
