Health and Safety
Synergy’s designated Health and Safety manager for the business is: Simon Hunt.
The Health and Safety manager keeps up to date with current Health and Safety legislation that is applicable to the business.
Synergy is supported by an external specialist Health and Safety Consultant – MJZ Health and Safety Management, to provide additional
advice on all Health and Safety matters.
In addition to, Health and Safety requirements within our own workplace, Synergy will fulfil all required obligations under CDM Regulations, as an appointed designer, on all applicable projects.
We will carry out all necessary designers Risk assessments and take due cognisance of all Health and Safety issues related to our scope of design input.
We will always seek to “design out” any significant hazards and risks. Any residual hazards will be clearly identified and communicated to the respective professional teams and client organisations
Synergy are also accredited members (or working towards accreditation) of a number of industry-recognised Health and Safety schemes, including:-
- Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS)
