Ceequal is the Sustainability assessment, rating and awards scheme for civil engineering projects, and can be used to assess such projects as roads, business parks, bridges, ports, power generation, wind-farms, railway works, remediation works, public realm works and urban regeneration schemes.
The use of Ceequal is beneficial for a number of reasons including:-
- Reputation Building and good PR – Including delivery of the participants’ environmental sustainability and/or CSR policies.
- Encourages implementation of best practice – ranging from whole life costing, waste minimisation, resource efficiency, to reducing complaints and environmental incidents
- Demonstrates a commitment to the sustainability agenda
